Blending Makeup Beauty Tip

TIP OF THE DAY: 

Worst Beauty Move #2 - Not Blending Your Makeup 

This applies to everything u put on ur face, foundation, blush, eye shadow or eyeliner to avoid the appearance of hard lines on ur skin, eyes or lips, 

Use brushes or fingers to gently massage color into the skin everywhere you put it. 

Don’t forget ur jawline, chin & other areas of your face that may be slightly hidden when you look in the mirror.

The Key is to blend, blend, blend. & apply more as u need it.  Build the color up gradually in layers vs pilling it all on at once.

Foundation on Flaky Skin Beauty Tip

TIP OF THE DAY: 

Worst Beauty Move #1 - Wearing Foundation on Flaky Skin. 

Foundation should absorb into the skin, disappearing into it.

Foundation needs a smooth surface. Otherwise it looks cracked, dry, dull & obvious, which is the exact opposite of what u want ur foundation to do for u.

To even out the surface of ur skin, gently scrub it to remove dead cells and flakes. Finish by applying a moisturizing lotion or, if you have extremely dry skin, suki oil.

USING A FOUNDATION SPONGE

TIP OF THE DAY: USE A SPONGE 

You may be tempted to cover up every imperfection with foundation but don't.

1. Quickly wet ur sponge under the faucet

2. Squeeze out the water

3. Put a dab of foundation on the back of ur hand. 

4. Pick up the foundation u need with the tip and apply it in dabbing motions on ur face. 

5. You may need to blend it with ur finger so that it won't look cakey or opaque.

Using a Sponge will allow some of foundation to be absorbed & the water will thin the rest, 

this will u give u optimal sheer coverage. <3

How to Fix Broken Lipsticks

Reincarnate ur favorite broken lipsticks. 

Its super easy & u'll end up with cute lil Lip Pots instead of having to scrap the sides of ur expensive & now not so cute lipstick. 

Here's what u need in supplies to get stared:
Broken lipstick
Empty lip gloss jar

Metal spoon
Lighter/Flame

Takes about 5 MINUTES to Fix.

1 - Remove all of the lipstick from the container onto the spoon
2 - Have ur empty lip gloss jar already open & ready to fill up
3 - Place the metal spoon over the lighter or flame & light it long enough to have the lipstick melt all the way ...stop when lipstick turns into a liquid
4 - Pour the melted lipstick into the empty lip gloss jar
5 - Allow about 5-8 minutes for it to cool down & firm up

If ur really creative, print out a label or get ur favorite designer Duck Tape & decorate ur new jars. ♥
